Welcome to your go-to spot for answers. Whether you're a first-time client or a seasoned client, these questions cover everything from prep to aftercare, eligibility, safety, and what to expect. Use the menu below to jump to your service:
Nanoblading, Ombre Powder Brows, etc.
Q: Does it hurt? A: Most clients describe it as a light scratching sensation. I use a topical anesthetic to keep you comfortable throughout the service.
Q: How long does nanoblading last? A: 1–3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.
Q: Can I get nanoblading if I’ve had microblading before? A: Yes, but only if the pigment has faded significantly. A consultation is always best for assessing if correction is needed.
Q: Can I get nanoblading while pregnant or breastfeeding? A: No—due to healing unpredictability and pigment safety, this service isn’t offered during pregnancy or lactation.
Q: Will it work on darker skin tones? A: Absolutely. Nanoblading often retains pigment better than microblading in melanin-rich skin and is a safe option for all skin types.
Lashes
Q: Do lash extensions damage your real lashes? A: Not when done properly. We always match the weight and length to your natural lashes, so there’s no unnecessary strain or breakage.
Q: Can I wear eye makeup with extensions? A: Yes! Just avoid oil-based or waterproof eye products. Oil breaks down the adhesive and shortens the lifespan of your set, and the only way to remove waterproof makeup is with oil.
Q: I had a bad reaction to lash glue before—can I still get extensions? A: Possibly. Let’s do a patch test first and see how your skin reacts. Your safety comes first.
Q: How long do extensions last? A: Most clients return for fills every 2–3 weeks. Longevity depends on your natural lash cycle, lifestyle, and aftercare.
Medical History & Skin Conditions
Q: What conditions make me ineligible for PMU? A: Pregnancy, breastfeeding, current cancer treatments, active skin infections, and some autoimmune conditions. We may also request clearance from your doctor if you have diabetes or a history of seizures.
Q: I have eczema or psoriasis—can I get services? A: Possibly, if the affected area is calm and not directly in the treatment zone. Please disclose this beforehand.
Q: I’ve had a chemical peel, microneedling, or laser treatment. Can I still come in? A: You’ll need to wait 2–4 weeks, depending on the treatment. Fresh skin needs time to rebuild before any cosmetic tattooing or waxing.
Aftercare & Healing
Q: What’s aftercare like for nanoblading? A: You’ll need to avoid sweating, swimming, sun exposure, and makeup on the brows for about 10 days. We’ll provide a full aftercare kit and instructions after your appointment.
Q: Can I wet my lash extensions? A: Yes, but wait at least 24 hours after application. Once cured, you can wash them gently daily with lash-safe cleanser (coming soon to the shop!).
Q: What if I get a breakout or reaction after a wax or tint? A: It’s rare, but if it happens, cleanse the area with a gentle cleanser and apply aloe. Let us know ASAP, and we’ll troubleshoot together.
Booking & Policies
Q: What’s your cancellation policy? A: I require at least 18 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules. No-shows and late cancellations will result in a late-cancellation fee.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept? A: I currently accept Cash, Zelle, and all tap-to-pay Cards. All balances are due at the end of your appointment.
Q: Can I bring someone with me? A: I love supportive friends and fam—but for safety and focus, please come solo unless discussed beforehand.
Q: How can I cancel or reschedule my appointment? A: On the top right, you can log in to your account and view past and upcoming appointments, where you can cancel or reschedule any future bookings. You can also view your account and change any personal information.
